Bloomberg Markets AM host Lisa Abramowicz spoke with TAG President Jack Devine about Trump’s nominee for the CIA, Gina Haspel, and the recent expulsion of 60 Russian diplomats. Jack commented that Haspel is a professional and a careerist who has been painted unfairly. He noted that the hearings will be useful to bring the facts to light and also underscored the significance of Haspel being the first woman to be nominated to lead the CIA. With respect to Russia, Jack said the expulsion demonstrates a toughening of the US position.
