Amanda C. Mattingly
Amanda C. Mattingly joined The Arkin Group in 2004 and has directed business intelligence collection and analysis efforts in emerging and mature markets around the globe, with a focus on Latin America and Europe. Prior to joining TAG, Ms. Mattingly worked at the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the Offices of Andean and Caribbean Affairs; as a Presidential Management Fellow; and at the U.S. Embassy in Caracas. Ms. Mattingly has received the State Department Superior Honor Award, Meritorious Honor Award, and Franklin Award. Ms. Mattingly also served at the U.S. National Security Council in the Directorate of Western Hemisphere Affairs.
Ms. Mattingly holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Bachelor’s degree from Davidson College. Ms. Mattingly has traveled extensively throughout Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. She is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations, a former Thomas J. Watson Fellow, and a 2010 Truman Security Fellow. She speaks Spanish.
